Women's C New Requirement!
Beginning with the Spring 08 indoor session, the Women’s C division will be restricted to women 30 years of age or older with the following exceptions:
- Each team may have up to 3 players who are under 30.
- Players who are currently playing on a women’s C team may continue to play with that team for the Spring 08 session only.
Youth Soccer Coaches Sought
Matanuska Soccer Club, the only competitive-level youth soccer club in the Mat-Su Valley, is currently seeking interested candidates for both head and assistant coaching positions for the 2008 summer season. The club fields both boys and girls teams in age divisions ranging from under-10 through under-19, and it is our mission to provide professional training and player development to assist these young athletes in advancing to the highest levels of play, while instilling those core values that will ensure success both on and off the field.
MSC coaches are offered annual contracts, which include compensation in the form of a stipend, club training/match apparel, and tuition for continuing coaching education/licensing. We take great pride in our stable of coaches, the cornerstone of our club, and are seeking those with the desire to see soccer continue to grow in the Valley, and the commitment to help make it happen.
